AzOWRA: Arizona Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association

AzOWRAis a non-profit association that promotes the recycle of on-site wastewater from septic systems.   AzOWRA is the state of Arizona affiliate of the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Associaton (NOWRA).

AzOWRA was started in 2006.  The organization’s mission is to “Provide value to our members and property owners through communication, education, training, quality services and advocacy regarding on-site and decentralized wastewater treatment, reuse and management.  Kathy Mills has served as the Secretary for the last 1.5 years.


Members of AzOWRA include contractors, manufacturer’s representatives, engineers, regulators, designers, and other interested people.

Membership benefits include a quarterly newsletter, networking, a subscription to the “Onsite Installer” magazine, and listing on the NOWRA “Septic Locator” listing on their website.

Activities include an annual educational conference and manufacturer’s exhibit, annual membership meeting, and homeowner training program.
